UP Dismisses Mortgaging Party to LAP
The ruling Unity Party (UP) has dismissed allegations of linking its first partisan,
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, to 'anti-Vice President Subversion' and termed the allegation as 'utter nonsense
and garbage'.
Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the UP Headquarters
on Broad Street, the National Secretary General, Henry B. Fahnbulleh, clarified that its Standard Bearer, Madam Ellen Johnson
Sirleaf, had at no time engaged in any such 'sinister ploy' as insinuated in the publication.
