United Sarpo Association in the Americas (USAA) holds  major convention in PA

After a long and exhaustive planning, the United Sarpo Association in the Americas SafeRedirect-3.jpeg(USAA) under the leadership of Mr. Charles Krogee will meet in the city of brotherly love on Independence Day July 4Th weekend to discuss pertinent issues as they relate to the growth and well-being of the Sarpo Community.

This all-important 18Th National Convention will take place at the Conner of Cobbs Creek and Cedar Philadelphia. All events will begin on Friday, July 3, and end on Sunday, July 5, 2009.
 
Meanwhile, the National Executive President of the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA) Dr. Mariah Seton will serve as the keynote speaker. 

Delegates from ULAA National Board of Directors, sisters' organizations, States chapter’s representatives, friends and relatives from all around the US will arrive on Friday, July 3rd for the Welcoming Ceremony.

The Chairman of the USAA National Board of Directors, Mrs. Pricilla Wule Gboloweeffa and Co- Chairman Hon. Teah Roosevelt Jardiah and the local leadership of USAA will be on hand to receive them. The convention will be climaxed with a Queen contest and a Grand Ball.  

According to the itinerary released by the convention organizing committee, the Convention will kick off with a grand Welcome Party to be held at the residence of Mother Mabel Saydee on July 3, 2009 at 9:00 PM.

On Saturday, July 4, 2009 the Convention activities and sessions will go for a full day at the Conner of Cobbs Creek and Cedar Philadelphia.
In the late evening at 7:30 pm, the convention will continue with the official ceremony which includes keynote Speaker, organizations presentation, Queen Contest and Convention dinner ball.  Tickets for this event will be sold at the door.

A thanksgiving and intercessory Service will be held at 10:00 am and laying of wrath on the tomb of the late Mrs. Mary W. Draper are scheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2009.

The entire event will climax on July 5, 2009 starting at12:00 PM with a Cookout and Farewell Party.

It is expected that several delegates and other distinguished personalities will be attending this event from all around the country.
