One of Liberia's prominent citizens and a man of God whose life and legacy was
based on spreading the gospel, Bishop Alfred G. Reeves, has died. He was the Bishop of Victory Chapel (now Victory Temple).
This sad event occurred on May 8, 2009 at Firestone Medical Center in Harbel, lower Margibi County. He
was 75.
The late Bishop Reeves worked as a reading clerk and director at Tuberculosis (TB) Annex, Ministry of
Health and Social Welfare. The late Liberian clergyman was the first superintendent of Christ Church of God, located on Crown
