The Dawn of a New OLM-Will Tarley Break His Silence By Benjamin Ackoi Few days ago I read that Mr. John Tarley has
been elected Chairman of OLM Board. As usual, congratulatory messages came in to greet the The theft of the constitution, true to public rejection, was endorsed by only 76 persons of OLM, not including Mr. Tarley himself. Nothing is known about Mr. Tarley’s position regarding Dwanyen’s action to take OLM funds to pay his office rent. Nothing is known about Mr. Tarleh’s position regarding the fussy math financial reports that is regularly provided by Dwanyen. Moreover, nothing is known about Mr. Tarley’s position with respect to the many attempted litigation actions initiated by Dwanyen and the frivolous litigation against Mr. Francis Zazay. As if to suggest that the silence of Mr. Tarley is not enough, no one again knows his position on the very much publicized remorse that the entire election was orchestrated to provide for cronies of Kerper to be elected to the board so as to protect his interest and prevent an audit of his corrupt administration. For example, publicity of this election was the poorest in OLM history. It was even speculated by the SlohInfo Service and the People to People News that the person to replaced Kerper is a crowned member of the group that played a very important role in stealing OLM constitution and causing chaos. With such track records, one might therefore wonder as to why would a community remain silent, to the extent, that it allows Kerper alone take the community to this level with impunity. Simple! The community is tire of fighting. Although the process leading to the arrangement to elect board members, as opposed to electing presidents and executive, was replete with fraud and falsehood, many members of the OLM community advised that other positive actions, including litigation be avoided, so as not to further divide the community. The evident of Kerper’s lack of support in the OLM was quite evident in low turnout both to his coup (duped referendum) and the just ended board elections. The turnout was so poor to the extent that neither Kerper nor his renegade news organs have published the total number of voters. No one even knows how many persons voted and there is no voter roster. The community has not even bothered to ask because Kerper had dragged OLM so much in the mud that there is the appearance that the presence of OLM means absolutely nothing. Although the community is not asking him for anything, a fact remains that Kerper had sued Mr. Zazay for failure to provide voter roster, yet, an elections commission under his watch, has got none to produce. With Mr. Tarley’s silence, it is certainly difficult to know his opinion and consequently send congratulatory message. Though we have a new day in OLM, congratulations for Mr. Tarley, a man whom I personally respect will come in due course. The pressing issues are how he transforms OLM to be a unifying force.
