The Union of Liberia Association in the Americas(ULAA) headed by Dr. Mariah Y. Seton has donated several bags of rice to some orphanage FIRE_WORD_CHURCH_002_149155103.jpgLiberianrefugeewomenprotest45JPG.jpghomes in the country.  The exercise was part of the association's way of identifying with the less fortunate during the Christmas and New Year season.  A Representative of the association, Mr. Thomas Bedell said the dream of his association is to help the country in its reconstruction process and said less fortunates such as orphans are their first targets.

He said the assistance would continue and hopefully the association will go extra miles to adopt some of the orphans and render other forms of assistance intended to educate them. Orphanages that benefited from the gesture included Love and Child Orphans Home and the Amazing Grace Orphanages as well as some elders and displaced people from the Pipeline Community.  Responding, one of the beneficiaries of the Love and Child Orphans Home headed by Madam Rebecca Brooke Wreh commended the association for the donation and called for God's blessing upon the association. She said it is her prayer that God will open more doors for the association to make further contribution.
