Emmett Trinity is the next President of LCANJ

The Liberian Community Association of North Jersey, Inc (LCANJ) has a new President to stir ship of the community and he is emmettTrinity.jpgEmmett Trinity.

On Saturday, December 17, 2011, the Chairman of the Elections Commission of the Community, Hon. Augustus Koiquah, declared Mr. Emmett G. Trinity President-Elect of LCANJ after all the votes were tallied. Mr. Trinity is a known name within LCANJ circles for his consistent and outstanding service. Hon. Trinity (AKA Polo) is also a renowned Liberian personality from his years of representing the Republic of Liberia in international soccer competition as a Star member of the Invincible Eleven and Lone Star.

Others electied are Nasir Bilal, Vice President; Sekou Sheriff, General Secretary; Al Jabateh, Treasurer; Ingrid Nagbe, Financial Secretary; Joshua William, Parliamentarian;and Stanly Summerville, Chaplain.

Those elected on the Board of Directors were Varney Kromah, Victoria Sherman- Britts, Marilyn Clinton, Margaret Nah, J. Bosco Johnson, Evelyn Jones and Saadatu Lynch.

On the Judiciary Committee are Bendu Sanoh, Bertha Nyewah, Helena Roberts and Mary Deshield.

LCANJ President, Mr. Robert E. Smallwood, Jr. has extended warm congratulations to the President-Elect as well as to all elected members of the Executive committee, the Board of Directors and the Judiciary Committee.

The transition process has begun and the installation and inauguration dates are expected to be announced soon.

Meanwhile the National Administration, Leadership Council and National Board of Directors of the Union of Liberians in the Americas (ULAA) have expressed congratulations to Mr. Emmett Trinity, President-Elect of LCANJ and the newly officers of the Community.
