Fallah calls on Liberians to save for drizzling days.

A US based Liberian financial expert has called on Liberians to "see the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to two of Liberia’s finest females as recognition of efforts being made by fallahA234.JPGour mothers and sisters in bringing about lasting peace in the country."

Mr. Austin Fallah said the model introduced by these two African ladies should be used as a yardstick in solving conflicts that may arise around the world.

Mr. Fallah made the statement recently when he served as the guest speaker and installing officer at the induction ceremony of the newly elected leadership of the Minnesota based Mount Airy Social Club.

He said because of the two women, Liberia has once gained her standing in the international community, with the world no longer looking at the country as a pariah state.

He also praised the Sister Brown’s committee’s Report, saying he was pleased with the level of professional job done to sustain Liberia’s peace.

The Sister Brown’s Report contained recommendations from the investigation of the November 7 clashes between the Liberian National Police Force and partisans of the Congress for Democratic Change.

Mr. Fallah said under no conditions should the rights of Liberians to peacefully assemble for the common good of society be truncated in any form or shape. However, he said Liberians "must show respect for the rule of Law at all veneers of society", if they are to continue the path of democracy that have engulfed the country.

Addressing members and the leadership of the Mount Airy Social Club, Mr. Fallah reiterated his earlier call for Liberians in the Diaspora to save for rainy days in order to sail easily when hard times fall on them...

Mr. Fallah, a Doctor of Jurisprudence (Law) student, made similar call in 2010 when he served as the guest speaker at the origination’s 10 anniversary program at which time he called on Liberians to save for rainy days and be good managers of scarce resources.

He praised officers of the club for their commitment to their respective assigned tasks, and said for being good Stewarts; the association has gained respect in the community.

Mr. Fallah, however, cautioned the leadership of the club not to misconstrue their election to positions of trust to deny the membership of their rights and privileges.

He said their election to key positions in the organization should bring about new ideas that will move the organization to a new level.

Those installed to serve the organization for a two-year term were: Momo Held, President; Carolina Gallimah,Vice President; Leslie Dunbar, Secretary; Cecicia Harmon, Financial Secretary; and Roseline Peters, Treasurer.

Elected to the Board of Directors were: Benoni Grimes, Chairman; Comfort Amah, Co-Chairman; and members include Charles Gittens, Roger Logan and Rubel Carter.
